The trend of young girls having breast augmentation has become quite alarming especially when an 18-year-old cheerleader from Florida named Stephanie Kuleba underwent a breast augmentation surgery on March 22 and died.

Dr. Frederick Lukash, a plastic surgeon, said that he has performed many breast augmentations on girls under the age of 18 for a number of reasons. He was wondering why there is so much attention has been focused on the fact that Kuleba was having breast surgery but there was little on the fact that she had malignant hypothermia, a disorder that occurs in every 5,000 to 50,000 patients who are given anesthesia.

The common notion that new moms have when they start breastfeeding is that there breasts are going to sag. This is perhaps the main reason why milk supplements are everywhere since mothers are somewhat scared to breast-feed their kids since it might cause their figure to deteriorate. Not to mention the fact that a breast lift surgery, which is designed to give sagging breasts a lift, is quite expensive.

Now, a new study is here to suggest that the preconceived notion that breast-feeding is bad for a mother’s figure is not true at all. Good news for moms at last.

Dr. Brian Rinker, 37-year-old and lead author of the study, showed that breast-feeding does not increase breast sagging. The study was presented at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons’ annual meeting in Baltimore just recently.

This claim is supported by statistics as 22% of deaths among Swedish women with breast implants reflected psychiatric morbidity or a substance abuse or dependence disorder.

It has been a practice in cosmetic surgery for quite some time now to use fat grafting techniques in order to enlarge the size of the breasts naturally. The most common practice of breast enlargement is basically to employ breast implants such as saline and silicone. But due to certain drawbacks of breast implants, a natural breast implant in the form of fat taken from the other areas of the body such as buttocks or the tummy is being considered.

It is common notion that women try so hard to improve their appearance by going under the knife in order to attract the opposite sex. In fact, almost all cosmetic surgery endeavors especially on the aspect of breast enlargement is largely attributed to the desperation women have over finding Mr. Right.

However, that notion is about to change as women finally spoke up and told te whole world that that is not the way things go.
