Breast implants don’t cause cancer

  • ins: Breast Enhancement Tag(s):

    There is an interesting development concerning breast implants. An article from MSNBC has this to say:

    Do women with implants experience higher incidences of breast cancer? No. Many studies have found that breast cancer incidence in women who have had implants is actually lower than that of the general female public.
    The article pointed out possible reasons of this decline. And these are:

    Compressing breast tissue and interfering with its blood supply. Decreasing temperature in the breast. Stimulating an immunological response, which helps destroy potential breast cancer cells.

    This sets things clear for breast enlargement surgery. Now that this is clearly pointed out, will there more breast augmentation procedures in 2006? The answer is not yet available but experts have already predicted that half a million American women will undergo breast enlargement this year. Looking back, there were approximately 300,000 breast augmentation procedures done in 2005. Raising that to 500,000 sure does look promising, especially now that findings like this has come out. What remains to be done at present, is to wait and see how things turn out.
