Dr. David Amron is a Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He was raised in Los Angeles and studied at the University of California in Los Angeles and San Diego. He got his Bachelor of Arts degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and returned to California for his postgraduate education.

Dr. Amron did his internal medicine internship at Cedars Sinai Medicine Center in Los Angeles and received the prestigious Dermatology Foundation Research Fellowship and then, he completed two years of scientific and clinical research concerning growth characteristics of skin cancer, at UCLA. His residency in dermatology was spent at University of California, San Diego Medical Center, where he received extensive training in both clinical dermatology and dermatologic surgery.

Before his partnership with Dr. Nassif at Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Amron has been into dermatology and cosmetic surgery practice in Sherman Oakes, California for several years already.

Concomitant to his expertise in his field, Dr. Amron has published numerous articles in dermatologic journals and has been an author for dermatologic surgery and medical textbooks. He has also been a frequent lecturer on skin diseases and dermatologic surgery to his fellow doctors, and to other distinguished groups. Moreover, he has served as a peer manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and the Archives of Dermatology.

Dr. Amron is well respected for producing consistently outstanding results with his “pure tumescent liposuction” surgery. He is a formidable figure in liposuction, teaching other surgeons about his liposuction technique and demonstrating how rapid recovery time can be achieved. No wonder he is an outspoken advocate of “mini-liposuction.”

Aside from his affiliation to American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Amron is also a fellow at the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Liposuction Surgery, American Society for MOHS Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
