Mark Glasgold is a board-certified New Jersey cosmetic surgeon, and one of the principal members of the The Glasgold Group Plastic Surgery. His expertise in the rejuvenation of the aging face, specifically the facelift and facial fat transfer is internationally recognized. As a matter of fact, he even led the first Facial Fat Transfer Workshop at the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery’s 40th anniversary gathering in September 2004. Such activity was considered a historic event for it brought together the big names in the field of fat transfer for the very first time.

Dr. Glasgold’s expertise has made him the frequent lecturer on facial fat transfer and New Jersey cosmetic surgery in all over the country. He has been to several medical conferences to deliver informative presentations and lecture to colleagues at the national level – a privilege that only a trusted physician deserves. Aside from that, Dr. Glasgold also distinguished himself as a medical author, writing a number of chapters and articles on facial cosmetic surgery.

After graduating from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mark Glasgold pursued the medical profession – the path where his father must have influenced him to follow. He studied at Thomas Jefferson Medical School and got his medical degree. He proceeded to graduate studies and received his Masters in Biomedical Engineering from UMBNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he likewise did a residency in general surgery, followed by a residency in head and neck surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York Hospital, and Cornell University. His fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery took place at the American Academy of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).

Aside from his responsibilities at Glasgold Group of Plastic Surgery, he is also an attending physician at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City. In addition to that, he also served as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Presently, he is a co-director of the Facial Plastic Sugery Fellowship Program of AAFPRS.

Dr. Glasgold is board-certified in facial plastic surgery by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and in head and neck surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
