Nose Jobs: Good and Bad

Any plastic surgery procedure has its own set of potential risks and complications. When these complications arise during the surgery or even after it, cosmetic surgeons who are not adept in handling the situation can even make the case worse and give out results that are from what is expected of the procedure. Rhinoplasty is no exception. In fact, since rhinoplasty is considered to be a difficult procedure by most cosmetic surgeons, it is not unusual to know that there are bad nose jobs here and there.

Also, there are successful rhinoplasties with excellent results. But before we delve in to that, let the bad news go first. It is better to end the article with good things rather than bad, so off we go to witness bad nose jobs that happened to various people from all walks of life.

A bad nose job affects not only self-confidence but also breathing. This is what happened to Monica Lopez after her rhinoplasty. She considered medical negligence as the culprit. The case of Eileen Douglas was also quite unfortunate and it ended up in a lawsuit against the physician who conducted the surgery.

Celebrities have always been known to make those cosmetic surgery decisions which are sometimes bad decisions actually. That’s why it is not surprising to know they too have been victims of bad plastic surgery.

Richard Grieco, for instance lost his charm along with his career perhaps due to a bad nose job. This picture doesn’t look that bad though, but Grieco sure does look awful. Meanwhile, Paris Hilton’s nose doesn’t look good either. Her nose job made her look like a witch in this picture. On the other hand, Lance Bass also made his nose look feminine. Well Lance admitted that he’s gay so there’s no need to explain why he made this change.

Other celebrities who stunned the public with their new noses are Don Johnson, Courtney Peldon, and who else? The Jackson family.

Now let’s stop here because it is impossible to document all bad celebrity nose jobs with the limited time and space that we have. It is time to go over to more pleasing sights. Good nose jobs are next.

Ashlee Simpson’s nose job made her look prettier than ever. The Olsen twins also have a similar fate. Their new noses definitely enhanced their looks.

Narrowing the nose bridge really does have a good effect especially when it comes to Kate Winslet. The same thing happened to Halle Berry’s and she looked very good with this improvement.

Julia Scheeres’ nose job experience isn’t something that somebody wanted to have but her nose job was nonetheless successful since she was really happy with the result.

Other wonderful nasal reshaping results are those from Katie Holmes, Freddie Prince Jr. and Elisha Cuthbert.
