Dr. Robert Glasgold New Jersey cosmetic surgeon Robert Glasgold, M.D. counts rhinoplasty, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation and other facial rejuvenation procedures such as facial fat transfer and blepharoplasty among his fields of expertise. A graduate of the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Glasgold’s expertise led to a co-directorship of the first Facial Fat Transfer Workshop at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in September 2004.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Glasgold began a stint as a resident in the Department of General Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then served as resident and chief resident in head and neck surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Soon after, Dr. Glasgold went through a fellowship program in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).

Like many distinguished members of the medical profession, he makes sure knowledge is passed on to a younger generation of doctors, as he is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Moreover, he has also authored textbook chapters that discuss facial fat transfer, endoscopic browlifts and facial implants, thereby making significant contributions to facial plastic surgery literature.

New Jersey cosmetic surgeon Dr. Glasgold is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Medical Association.

At present, Dr. Robert Glasgold partners with his father Alvin and brother Mark, both board-certified cosmetic surgeons themselves, at the Glasgold Group Plastic Surgery, which his father founded more than 30 years ago. Robert is married to pediatrician Jean Goh, with whom he has a daughter. When taking a break from practicing his profession, he engages in activities such as sailing, photography, sailing and reading.
