Worried about your bulging tummy? Don’t despair. There is always a solution to every problem. There is diet and exercise. Too lazy to work out and follow a strict diet routine? There are perhaps, diet pills and other drugs which can help alleviate the problem without sweating it out. Scared of the side effects? There’s liposuction surgery and tummy tuck. Well, it can be a lot expensive but it can get you to have a new body to start with, but if you’re scared to go under the knife, a new pair of jeans is perhaps what you need.
Tummy Tuck Jeans, a line of denims created by Lisa Rudes-Sandel, promises to flatten your tummy and contour your hips. Not only that, it can also lift the buttocks, slim the body and allow the wearer to wear one size smaller.
Does it sound like it’s too good to be true? Let’s get some tips from someone who has had a first-hand experience with the product. Romy Pokorny of AOL Diet & Fitness has this to say about the tummy tuck jeans:
On the plus side, my stomach looked flat as a pancake in these dark-wash dungarees with yellow stitching on the fly and pockets. I also felt like I could have run or danced as easily as walked and sat in my chair, they were that pliable and soft. I can see wearing them with heeled boots and a blouse or sweater out to dinner, or with my clogs and a sweatshirt for Saturday errands in the neighborhood.Margit disputed the size-smaller claim. In her experience, the stomach-flattening feature made the fit in the hips less comfortable. Tammy, too, found them snug but liked the dark wash and striations in the fabric.
Romy’s experience tells us that there is a kernel of truth to the product’s claims and promises. And there are also certain drawbacks such as the butt lift effect which made her buttocks appear flatter, and the less comfortable fit in the hips. But with a price tag of 80 to 150 bucks, having one pair wouldn’t hurt that much, would it?
